Migrations
Google Workspace migration, planned and managed end to end

Process
What happens at each step
1. Discovery
Discovery defines exactly what moves. We inventory users, aliases, shared mailboxes, calendars and resources, distribution lists, file stores, DNS records, and third-party apps that send mail, then flag anything that will not migrate cleanly.
2. Planning
Planning turns discovery into a dated cutover plan. It covers batch order, the MX switch time, email authentication records, user communication, and a rollback path if anything blocks go-live.
3. Migration
Data is copied into Google Workspace before users switch. On cutover day mail routing changes at the agreed time and a delta migration copies anything that arrived in the gap, so no message is left behind.
4. Adoption
Adoption is where migrations succeed or stall. Admins get configuration walkthroughs and users get training resources and quick-start guides, with custom training available.
5. Support
The team that ran the migration supports your users for 14 days after cutover, and escalates to Google when an issue sits on their side.
Corporate change
Built for change, not just moves
Mergers
Consolidate several domains into one primary domain, or keep secondary domains under one tenant.
Acquisitions
Bring users from an acquired company into your Google Workspace on your schedule.
Divestitures
Move user data out cleanly when employees transition to a separate entity.

Migration questions
What does not migrate automatically?
Mail rules, some third-party add-ins, and app-specific data such as Teams chats usually need manual steps or replacement. Discovery identifies these early so nothing surprises you at cutover.
Can we migrate in batches instead of all at once?
Yes. Staged migration moves users in groups on Premium, which suits larger teams or organizations that need departments to switch on different dates.
What is a delta migration?
A delta migration is a second pass that copies only items created or changed since the first copy. It closes the gap between pre-staging and cutover so nothing is lost.
Do we need to change our domain name?
No. You keep your existing domain. We verify it in Google Workspace and update DNS records, including MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, at the planned time.
